Today was supposed to be heavy rain and indeed began that way.  But by 11:00 AM the sun had come out and it promised to stay sunny all day long.  So, we regrouped and had a totally spectacular day experiencing Nice with the Niçoise locals…strolling from one place to another until we ultimately stopped for a coffee and gelato, then wound our way to the Promenade des Anglais.  We found blue chairs, sat and watched the beautiful blue sea and people. Finally we caught a ride up to the point that turns towards our street. By that time a gale force wind was blasting us along the street and we were ever-so-happy to arrive in our warm and sunny apartment, feed the dove and at least one of us elevated her legs for a period of time.  So here are some scenes from along the way.
