Not quite enough about storks

It was a first for me, seeing that stork and I wondered about their habits. The server at breakfast schooled me a bit. They are migratory birds, coming from Germany to Morocco to lay eggs and hatch babies—always to the same nest. When the babies fly the next, on they all go to the south of Africa for the summer. And then return, en masse to Germany. They return to the same nest each year. This particular nest has been ‘shored up’ on stilts—has been in the same place for about ten years. Although there are storks all over Marrakech, this is the only one I have seen. He told me it is an awesome and noisy sight to see a huge flock of storks in their migratory flight.
